MLC Jabbar: Cong members misleading high command

Davanagere: Congress MLC Abdul Jabbar said he is travelling throughout the constituency to gain the trust of voters and alleged that some people are spreading false rumours about him as certain individuals within the party are misleading the high command.Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, he said: "Neither the candidate, ministers nor MPs have invited me for campaigning, even as a courtesy. Still, I'm campaigning. Due to health issues, I'm not going to public campaigns. The KPCC president called on Friday and asked me to hold a press conference. We are continuously working for the party's development. There have been no lapses on our part regarding party matters." Congress leader N T Subhash Chandra said in a democratic system, everyone has the right to share their personal opinions freely.
