MLA to supporters: With your backing, I initiated devpt projects

Ballari: Nara Bharath Reddy expressed his gratitude, stating that his election as an MLA was a blessing from Allah.During a felicitation event hosted by the Muslim community on Sunday, he acknowledged the honour bestowed upon him through their support in the assembly elections. He emphasised that despite his youth, they entrusted him with the role of an MLA, attributing his success to the blessings of his parents and Allah."I secured a grant of Rs 2.20 crore for 21 mosques in the city and Rs 3 crore for two wedding halls. With your support, I initiated development projects worth Rs 5 crore in a single day for minority community neighbourhoods," Reddy stated.He underscored the importance of Hindu-Muslim unity as a top govt priority and asserted the need to uphold communal harmony. Reddy remarked, "The Waqf Board's properties are sacred, and we must safeguard them."He addressed the issue of encroachments on Waqf property in Havambhavi, Ballari city, noting that legal action was taken to protect these assets. Reddy acknowledged the significant contributions of the Muslim community throughout India's history, stating, "From the first struggle for Independence to the present, Muslims made considerable sacrifices for our nation."The event was attended by Rajya Sabha member Syed Nasir Hussain, Mayor Mullangi Nandish, Humayun Khan, Shivaraj Hegde, M Ramanjaneya, and others.Photo: 09-Nara Bharath Reddy
