Mass chanting of Hanuman Chalisa

Belagavi: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) treasurer Krishna Bhat said that a mass chanting of Hanuman Chalisa programme will be held simultaneously in two places of Belagavi separately on Saturday evening — at Tilakwadi Vaccine Depot and College Road Sardar Ground at 5.30pm on Saturday
Speaking to the media at Kannada Sahitya Bhavan here on Friday, Krishna Bhat said that on the occasion of the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, invitations with holy ‘mantrakshate’ from Ayodhya and a picture of Ram Mandir have been delivered to 4.5 lakh families in Belagavi so far. Printed copies of Hanuman Chalisa have been delivered to every household.
“The chanting of Hanuman Chalisa continuously day and night which has been going on for the last four days from Jan 16, at VHP’s Samarasata Bhavan at Shastrinagar in Belagavi, will conclude on Saturday morning at 8.30am. So far, more than eight thousand devotees have participated,” he said.
