Man kills friend over affair with his wife

Kalaburagi: A man allegedly killed his close friend over an extramarital affair with his wife in Murudi village of Kamalapur taluk, Kalaburagi district.Ajay strangulated Ambarish, 28, using an electric wire. The incident was reported at Narona police station. The deceased, Ambarish Gavanahalli, 20, was a resident of Melakunda (B) village in Kalaburagi taluk.Earlier, Ajay earned his living as an auto driver, while Ambarish worked as a vegetable vendor. The two men shared a close friendship spanning 7-8 years. Ambarish relocated to Bengaluru recently, where he worked as a food supply worker at a PG accommodation.Ajay, who had two children, discovered that his wife Lakshmi was having an affair with Ambarish. Enraged by the discovery of the affair, Ajay lured Ambarish from Bengaluru to Murudi village, where he committed the murder. The case is currently under investigation.
