Man dies by suicide in Karnataka, writes death note alleging wife's harassment

HUBBALLI: A 40-yr-old man ended his life at his house, after allegedly being harassed by his wife in Chamundeshwari Nagar, here on Sunday.

A case was registered at Ashok Nagar police station. According to police sources, Peturu Gollapalli, was married to Feebhe for two years.

They lived together for three months and then she went back to her hometown. He called his wife many times to come back home, but she did not come.

The complaint states that Peturu was mentally disturbed by this, and wrote a death note stating that his wife's harrassment was the reason for his death, before he ended his life, sources added. Ashok Nagar police are investigating the case.
