Lit fest: Ball set rolling in Haveri

Haveri: The much-awaited Akhila Bharata Kannada Sahitya Sammelana will be held — tentatively in November — in Haveri city. The activities for the mega event have began in Haveri with the office for the meet has being set up at the office of the information and public relations here. Other activities like publications, reconstitution of various committees too have started. The government has allotted Rs 20 crore for the meet. But the government need to release funds for the development works in the city before the event.
