Liquor ban in twin cities
Hubballi: Police commissioner Raman Gupta has issued an order banning the sale of liquor and the closure of liquor shops, bars, and restaurants during Holi celebrations in twin cities. Gupta has said that Holi is being celebrated in the twin cities between March 7 and 11. “As a precautionary measure, a liquor ban order will be in force in Dharwad from 6pm on March 7 to midnight on March 8 in Dharwad. In Hubballi, the order will be in force from 6pm on March 9 to 6am on March 12 in Hubballi. The order is issued to maintain law and order in the city,"Raman Gupta said. tnn
