BELAGAVI: Animal husbandry and veterinary minister A Manju said that from the next academic year, schoolchildren will get milk in

tetra packets

Talking to reporters at the

here on Saturday, Manju said that the state government has decided to provide 150ml milk in tetra packets as there were complaints of adulteration of powdered milk and misuse of milk powder.

, Belagavi,” he added.

Manju said that the government has introduced 18 ambulances across the state. Shepherds can call 080-2341700 for help, he said. “The state government is planning to establish a multispecialty veterinary hospital at a cost of Rs 3.60 crore. It will provide effective treatment for ailing livestock,” he added.
