Houses burgled in Bijapur

BIJAPUR: Burglars struck two houses at Srushti Colony here between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The thieves entered the house of one K Venkateshwarao by breaking the main door and decamped with cash, two imported cellphones, a walkman, and a motorbike, together worth Rs 89,500.
Another house in the same locality, belonging to one Shivalingam, has also been burgled.The thieves have decamped with Rs 10,000 cash and a digital camera.
Related cases have been registered at Gandhi Chowk police station.
