HUBLI: Former president of Association of Consulting Civil Engineers, Suresh M Kiresur, has condemned HDMC's decision to cut power and water connections to commercial complexes which have not spared the space meant for vehicle parking, in spite of notices against doing so.
In a press release, Kiresur said that corporation is troubling the shopkeepers for the mistake committed by the builder by not providing parking space.
"Cutting power and water supply connections causes inconvenience to people," he added.
Instead of torturing the general public, HDMC should first take action against Mini Vidhan Soudha and HDMC-owned buildings like swimming pool complex and Super Market which have no adequate parking space.
