A group of JD(S) workers of Harihar taluk took out a protest rally from Grama Devata Temple on Thursday and lodged a "missing complaint" at Harihar police station, urging the police to trace Harihar BJP MLA B P Harish.

DAVANAGERE: A group of JD(S) workers of Harihar taluk took out a protest rally from Grama Devata Temple on Thursday and lodged a "missing complaint" at Harihar police station, urging the police to trace Harihar BJP MLA B P Harish.
The group, comprising CMC chief Honnamma, V-P Habeeb Ulla, members B K Syed Rehaman, Veeranna Hattikal and Nanjappa, came down heavily on the legislator for being irresponsibile and not solving the problems of the flood-affected families in the region.

"How can MLA Harish suddenly disappear, leaving the public works and other social functions to be attended by him?" the group asked. They claimed that they have not been able to contact the MLA on cellphone too and hence the police complaint, seeking to trace him.
They suspect the MLA, being a part of the Reddy faction, to be staying at a resort.
