Grand celebrations in Belagavi district on Hanuman Jayanti

Belagavi: Hanuman Jayanti was celebrated with devotion across the district, including Belagavi city, with several spiritual events on Saturday. A special puja, cradle programme, aarti, bhajan, kirtan, and various religious programmes were organised on this occasion. Special pujas were held at the famous Hanuman temples in Athani, Raibag, Kagwad, Chikodi, Gokak, Nippani, Mudalagi, Hukkeri, Savadatti, Bailhongal, Hukkeri, Sankeshwar, Khanapur, Kittur, and Belagavi city.Special puja, bhajan, and aarti programmes were held in more than 20 Hanuman temples in Belagavi city, including Camp Area, Maruti Galli, Anagol Shahapur, Hanuman Nagar, and Ramteerth Nagar Anjaneya Temple. Most of the devotees visited Hanuman temples in the morning. Pro-Hindu organisations, including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, participated in the programme.MLA Laxman Savadi participated in the jatra programme of Hanuman in Avarkhod village in Athani taluk. MLA Shashikala Jolle participated in the Hanuman Jayanti programme in Nippani Raviwar Peth. MP Jagadish Shettar, MLA Mahantesh Kaujalagi, former MLC Mahantesh Kavatagimath, and other dignitaries participated in the programme at the Anjaneya Temple in Ramteerth Nagar.
