Cultural meet for kids

DHARWAD: Karnataka Sangeeta Academy and Bala Vikas Academy will jointly organize a cultural meet for children at Karnataka Vidya Vardhaka Sangha hall here on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Deepa Bhagawat of Sirsi (Bharatnatyam), H N Prithvi of Mysore (light music), Shivani Mirajkar of Dharwad (classical music) will perform on Tuesday from 7 pm. Devika Parameshwar of Bangalore (Bharatnatyam), R Swaroop of Shimoga (light music), D N Pranava Swaroop of Shimoga (Carnatic music __ violin), M Shashank Bhat of Bantwal (keyboard) and Sachin Bhagawat of Belgaum (Hindustani vocal) will present programmes on Wednesday from 6.30 pm.
Assistant director of AIR (Dharwad) C U Bellakki will inaugurate the programme on Tuesday at 6.30 pm in the presence of Academy chief Narasimhalu Vadawati and Bal Vikas Academy chairman Shankar Halagatti.
