Haveri: The
BJP’s
Nava Karnataka Nirmana Parivartan Yatra, spearheaded by party’s state president
B S Yeddyurappa, will reach Haveri district on December 23.
Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, BJP state vice-president and former minister C M Udasi said that as part of the Yatra, separate rallies will be held in Shiggavi and Hanagal on December 23. More rallies will be held in Haveri, Byadagi and Hamsabhavi under Hirekerur assembly constituency on December 24.
On December 25, another rally will be held in Ranebennur.
Along with Yeddyurappa, Union ministers Ananthkumar,
Anantkumar Hegde,
D V Sadananda Gowda, former CM
Jagadish Shettar, MPs Pralhad Joshi and Shivakumar Udasi will take part in the rally in Haveri district.
C M Udasi said that the country will be free from
Congress after the assembly elections in Karnataka as the state government is facing anti-incumbency. “CM Siddaramaiah claimed that the Congress government is corruption-free. But he closed the door on Lokayukta and launched ACB to get clean cheat in every scam committed by the Congress government. People are observing all these things and waiting for the assembly polls to teach them a lesson,” he said.
BJP district president Shivaraj Sajjanar and general secretary Siddaraj Kalkoti were present on occasion.
