Angry with wife, man kills 2 children in Karnataka

KALABURAGI: A man, angry with his wife, killed their two children by strangling them at Jakleradoddi in Devadurga taluk in Raichuru district on Sunday.
Shivaraj Ningappa, 5, and Raghavendra Ningappa, 3, are the two deceased children.
On Saturday night, their mother Prabhavathi filed a case against her husband at Devadurga police station.
Ningappa, who suspected his wife’s character and used to fight with her also doubted if the children were his own.This led to a fight between the couple.
Prabhavathi started staying with her parents along with her two children at Irabagera village in the same taluk but on Saturday, Ningappa took the children from his wife’s place to his village Jakleradoddi where he killed them.
