All India Muslim personal Law Board (AIMPB) will hold a meeting to discuss the probable fallout of the judgment of the high court in the matter.

KARWAR: All India Muslim personal Law Board (AIMPB) will hold a meeting to discuss and decide the issues before it on February 7, at Bhatkal in Karnataka, said Yahya Damudi, media convener of AIMBP conference.
He was addressing a press meet at Karwar on Thursday. Damudi said that the Allahabad High court is expected to deliver its verdict on the Babri Masjid issue.

The AIMPB would discuss the probable fallout of the judgment of the high court in the matter.
The Supreme Court of India is hearing a public interest petition filed by a private individual in respect to the Islamic Sharia court. The personal law board shall examine the case in its meeting. Despite the parliament passing a bill with respect to maintenance allowance for Muslim women, some courts have given judgments contrary to the bill and the Sharia, he alleged. The board shall consider steps to check the wrong interpretation of Sharia and ways to see that the court follow Sharia laws as the rules in making decisions in all disputes related to Muslim family matter, he said.
He said that the meeting would commence at 9.30 am and the president of the board will brief the media on the outcome. At 9 pm, the president and the eminent members of the board will address a public function. The Muslims of the coastal belt are expected to attend the function. More than 100 dignitaries are expected to arrive at Bhatkal for the meeting. Moulana Rabi Hassani Nadvi, the president of AIMBP, Mulana Nizamuddin, general secretary of Amir Sharia board Bihar and Orissa and Moulana Mohammad Salim Qaismi, principal Dar-ul-uloom Deoband. Hinayatulla Gavayi was present in the press meet.
