6 Davangere students selected for RBI quiz

DAVANAGERE: Six students from different high schools of the district have bagged first place in the district-level RBI written quiz competition held here recently. They have now been selected for the state-level RBI quiz contest scheduled in the second week February.
Those who have been selected are Anil B Jadhav (Sri Siddeshwara High School, Davanagere), N Mallesh Rao (Govt High School, Honnali taluk), H G Manjunath (Govt PU College, Jagalur), P Hamsapriya (Mandara Public School), J Satish (Maganur Basappa High School), and R Veeresh (Sri Siddaganga PU College).
District lead bank (Canara Bank) manager N T Yerriswamy said such competitions help create awareness on bank-related matters among the students. The bank will soon present a cash prize of Rs 3,000 and a certificate to each of the six winners.
