NEW DELHI: A three-year-old girl was killed, her mother and younger sister injured after a wall collapsed due to heavy rainfall in Karnataka’s Gokak town on Monday morning, police said.
The incident took place around 7.30 am in Mahalingeshwar Nagar.
The victim were identified as Krithika, was sleeping with her sister Khushi when a neighbouring house’s wall gave way and fell on them due to continuous rain.
“While Krithika died on the spot, her mother Reshma and Khushi sustained injuries,” according to police.
The injured have been taken to Gokak Hospital and are reported to be out of danger, police added.
