Two PLA rebels held

GUWAHATI: Two People's Liberation Army (PLA) of Manipur militants were arrested by a joint team of police, army and CRPF personnel from the Dispur area on Thursday. Police sources said the two PLA cadres were nabbed during an operation conducted following intelligence inputs.
Security personnel have recovered grenades and laptop computer from their possession. The arrested cadres were identified as Kh Punsi Singh alias Ajit Singh and seargant major N Noren Singh.Both of them are residents of Manipur. Early this month, police had arrested two senior PLA leaders from the city.
