Tripura leads in Mann Ki Baat public engagement

Agartala: Tripura became the topper in the country for public engagement to Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat, BJP's state chief spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty said here on Wednesday.
Referring to the latest report of the party, Chakraborty said Tripura appeared as the best-performing BJP-ruled state in the booth-level coverage of the 119th edition of PM's Mann Ki Baat held on Feb 23.
The highest number of people, who tuned in to the PM's address, was from Tripura.
He said Tripura recorded a cent per cent assembly constituency coverage, with 2,414 booths reported out of 3,349, and 1,34,314 attendees, the highest engagement percentage among the BJP-governed states.
The report, covering 33 states and Union Territories, showed that Tripura, along with Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh and Assam, achieved 100% booth reporting. Among northeastern states, Tripura outperformed all others, with Assam and Arunachal Pradesh following behind.
