One dies in Arunachal road accident

Itanagar: A 34-year-old man died in a road accident when he lost control of the truck due to brake failure at 6 Kilo on the Itanagar-Naharlagun road, police said.At 9.30 am on Thursday, an FIR was received from one Md Sharif Khan, who reported that a truck driven by one Md Ali Khan, resident of Silkho village, Nuh Mewat district, Haryana met with an accident at 6 Kilo, Capital Superintendent of Police Rohit Rajbir Singh said. The SP said Md Ali Khan lost his life on the spot and his body was brought to RK Mission Hospital here where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased, who owned the truck, was transporting tiles from Rajasthan to Itanagar, police said.Police said the handyman, Md Junaid Khan, escaped without injuries.A case of unnatural death under Section 194 BNSS has been registered at Itanagar police station, the official said.
