Dibrugarh: Union Ayush minister

Tripura CM Manik Saha, Arunachal Pradesh deputy CM Chowna Mein and health ministers of Assam, Meghalaya and Manipur attended the Yoga Mahotsav here on Friday.

Rajkumar Ranjan Singh also attended the Yoga Mahotsav, marking the 75-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga.
International students from Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Togo, Nepal, Nigeria, Lesotho, Botswana, Egypt, Namibia and Korea apart from others and fitness enthusiasts also participated in the event.
Speaking at the event, Sonowal said, “It is a matter of pride that Dibrugarh is hosting this Yoga Mahotsav in this pristine environment.” He added that a 100-bed yoga and naturopathy hospital will be set up here by the ministry of Ayush and will further bolster Dibrugarh as the centre of healthcare in the region.
