Rly official inspects upper Assam stations

General manager of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Anshul Gupta inspected the Simaluguri-Dibrugarh section via Sivasagar over Tinsukia division on Friday as a part of his “Annual Inspection-2022”.

Dibrugarh: General manager of Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Anshul Gupta inspected the Simaluguri-Dibrugarh section via Sivasagar over Tinsukia division on Friday as a part of his “Annual Inspection-2022”.
He started the exercise from Simaluguri and inspected the existing infrastructure, safety installations under the station and also the newly constructed powerhouse at Simalguri.

This was followed by inspection of Curve No.2 (4 Degree) & engineering LC No. SM/2 in between Simaluguri- Sivasagar section.
At Sivasagar station, Gupta inspected the safety related items, equipment and passenger amenities of the station. Staff dealing with train operation were counselled during the inspection to adhere to all safety norms.
Safety related parameters of the major Bridge No. 24 over the Burhidhing river in section Khowang-Lepetkata was also inspected by Gupta as part of the annual inspection over the division. At Khowang station, he inspected the proper functioning of all safety related gears and existing amenities of the station.
