AIZAWL: The outbreak of
pneumonia in China is not alarming for India and there is no need to panic, principal of the health department Esther Lalruatkimi said on Wednesday.
Lalruatkimi, however, emphasised the need for medical staff to be vigilant in surveillance and prevention efforts.
A meeting that reviewed the situation was held at the SAD conference hall here on Wednesday which was attended by the principal secretary, special secretary Vinay Kumar, principal director Dr Vanlalsawma and other health department officials.
