Dimapur: The Nagaland govt has directed all unauthenticated state employees to mandatorily submit identity documents for verification and authentication under the Personal Information Management System (PIMS).A notification issued by the personnel & administrative reforms department through PIMS cell on Friday stated that the move has been initiated to strengthen employee authentication and ensure better governance.The department stated that the state govt had earlier issued several instructions to departments and employees to link Aadhaar with PIMS through official memorandums.However, many employees are yet to complete the Aadhaar linkage process, resulting in failure of identity authentication, it said.The notification directed all unauthenticated employees to submit their identity documents to their respective departments.The govt has set a deadline of June 3 for unauthenticated employees to submit the documents and comply with the order.
