MoS defence Sanjay Seth visits Manipur

Imphal: Minister of state for defence Sanjay Seth visited Kamjong district of Manipur on Wednesday to oversee the development works in the district.Soon after arriving in Imphal, the minister was received by BJP MLAs Th Basanta, Kovindas Konthoujam, L Sushindro, Th Ibomcha Sapam, Kunjakeshore and BJP Manipur Pradesh general secretary K Sharat Kumar and later had a brief meeting with them. However, what transpired during the meeting was not known.The minister later left for Kamjong district by helicopter and meet the central arm forces officials before he oversees the development of border fencing.Phungyar AC MLA, Leishiyo Keishing welcomed the minister at Kamjong and thanked him for his visit.The minister's visit comes amid Nagas rallying against the border fencing and the free movement regime (FMR).
