Mahatma Gandhi on his 156th birth anniversary.
The solemn ceremony took place at 7.30am on the Pachhunga University College (PUC) Campus in College Veng, Aizawl.
The event was attended by senior officials, including chief secretary Shri Khilli Ram Meena and DGP Shri Sharad Agarwal, who joined in honouring Gandhi’s enduring legacy and principles, widely revered across Mizoram.
Following the tribute, the governor and other dignitaries participated in the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign on the PUC Campus, reinforcing their commitment to Gandhi’s vision of cleanliness and service.
