Dimapur: Lok Bhavan Kohima commemorates the foundation day of Rajasthan on Saturday with governor Nand Kishore Yadav describing Rajasthan as the “Land of Kings” that symbolises courage, honour and royal heritage.
Extending warm greetings to the people of Rajasthan and members of the Rajasthan community residing in Nagaland on the occasion, Yadav referred to the state’s iconic forts, vibrant traditions, folk arts and the enduring legacy of valour represented by figures such as Maharana Pratap.
“Celebrating Rajasthan Divas in Nagaland holds special significance, as both states, though geographically distant, share deep-rooted traditions, strong community values and a spirit of resilience,” the governor said.
The governor emphasised that such occasions reflect the true essence of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, fostering unity, cultural exchange and mutual understanding among the people of the country.
