Guv backs leaders for better Nagaland

DIMAPUR: The governor of Nagaland, Nikhil Kumar on Tuesday said elected leaders have a responsibility to provide effective leadership that is able to channelize people's energy towards productive pursuits, and inspire confidence.
Addressing the house at the Ninth session of the eleventh Nagaland Legislative Assembly at the Assembly Hall, the Governor pointed out that Nagaland is endowed with rich natural and human resources and said these ingredients could bring the state rapid progress and prosperity.
"What we need is unity of purpose, perseverance and the will to reach new heights," he said. The governor also made it clear that the government would leave no stone unturned to maintain peace and tranquillity in the state.
