Dibrugarh: With the much-anticipated Assam assembly elections looming on the horizon, BJP has intensified its grassroots mobilisation. In a significant show of organisational strength, Chhattisgarh deputy CM and BJP’s observer for the Lakhimpur Lok Sabha constituency, Arun Sao, addressed a convention of party workers at Bhimpara, Boginadi, in Lakhimpur district on Sunday.The event, held under the Boginadi Mandal of the Lakhimpur Assembly constituency, saw a sea of saffron-clad supporters and panchayat-level workers. Accompanying the Chhattisgarh deputy CM was Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka, who has been actively overseeing the party’s local preparations. Addressing the gathering, Sao emphasised the importance of the upcoming election, describing it as a decisive moment for the state’s continued development. He urged the party’s rank and file to move into active campaign mode.

“The time for action has begun. I call upon every single ‘karyakarta’ to be ready for the elections. We must take the message of the double-engine govt’s success to every household in Lakhimpur,” Sao said.
