Newborn Care Week at NEIGRIHMS

Shillong: The National Newborn Care Week (Nov 15 to 21) was celebrated at NEIGRIHMS here with the department of pediatrics organising poster presentation and a health talk on during the week."The MBBS students from the 2020 and 2021 batches participated in the event centered on the theme, ‘Safety, Quality, and Nurturing Care – Birth Right of Every Newborn'. The event was aimed at educating and empowering caregivers with essential knowledge about neonatal health," a NEIGRIHMS statement said, reports Manosh Das.
