Silchar: BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Saturday asserted that the party-led NDA will return to power in the state with a two-thirds majority.
Speaking at an election rally in Lakhipur, Nabin said the region has moved past what he described as years of “neglect and divisive politics” under previous Congress govts. “The NDA has driven focused development and structural transformation in the Barak Valley, ensuring that the aspirations of every citizen are met. The region is now ready to deliver a historic hat-trick,” he added.
At Ramkrishnanagar, he said, “The people have already made their verdict clear. We will form the government with two-thirds of the seats.”
