Youth assaults Gurgaon shop salesman for denying free liquor, arrested
Gurgaon: A man was arrested for assualting a liquor shop salesman inside his workplace in Sector 53 on Sunday after the latter refused to give free beer to him. According to a complaint filed at Sector 53 police station, the incident took place around 8am at a liquor shop on Golf Course Road. The complainant, Vipin Singh Rajawat, alleged that two men came to the shop in a Toyota Fortuner bearing registration number HR13N3434. Soon after arriving, one of them, identified as Ronik Yadav, entered the shop and began assaulting him.

In his complaint, Rajawat alleged that the accused had earlier misbehaved at the outlet and had demanded free beer. "He forcibly entered the shop and demanded free beer. He told me that if I wanted to continue working here, I would have to give him free beer," the complainant told police. Rajawat further alleged that Ronik assaulted him without provocation on Sunday morning and created a disturbance inside the shop. The second accused, identified as Jun, had also come along with Ronik in his vehicle and was present during the incident, the complaint said. Rajawat, a resident of Dahiyapur village in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh, sought legal action against the accused, alleging repeated harassment and threats.
