The victim’s father said that he was regularly pressurized by the family of the accused to withdraw the case, and was “followed in a car without number plate”. Tyagi claimed that the man, who shot his son, is a resident of Bamdoli and is a “contract killer”. Advocate Rishi Raj said, “In this case, the police had filed chargesheets against two accused in the court. One of them turned out to be a juvenile and was released on bail.”
