GURGAON: Haryana minister for excise & taxation and public health engineering
Kiran Chaudhary cautioned people against political leaders who were hand in glove with the land-grabbing mafia and were illegally occupying the land of government departments on Saturday.
This comes close on the heels of the minister's writing to the deputy commissioner of Gurgaon about an incident of encroachment on public health engineering department's land in Sohna.
While the minister did not name any politician, she maintained that when the matter was brought to her notice by the residents of Sohna, she wrote to the chief minister and DC, requesting them to remove the encroachment.
"The land belongs to the public health engineering department and municipal committee of Sohna has no right on it. This land is worth crores and nobody will be allowed to grab it," said Chaudhary.
