GURGAON: Police have arrested another accused in the singer Rahul Yadav alias Fazilpuria firing case after a brief encounter in Manesar around 1:30 am on Friday.
The accused has been identified as Ramandeep (24) of Sirsa.
According to police, Ramandeep, also known as Petrol, had conducted a recce of the singer.
He suffered a bullet injury to his right leg during the encounter. Police said he had arrived in Manesar on a bike, and, acting on a tip-off, they cornered him. In an attempt to escape, he fired four rounds at the cops with his pistol, following which the police fired two shots in retaliation.
The accused was admitted to a local civil hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.
Notably, multiple occupants of a car had fired at Fazilpuria’s vehicle on July 14 on SPR in Gurgaon. Earlier, police had arrested a Sonipat resident in the case
