Proclaimed offender held

GURGAON: A proclaimed offender in a case of land fraud, who was on the run, was arrested in Sonipat district on Monday evening. The Sector 29 police have also lodged an FIR. The accused was produced in court on Tuesday and was sent in judicial custody for 14 days.
According to police, the accused has been identified as Kuldeep, a resident of Rohna village in Kharkhoda police station in Sonipat district.He was wanted in a case of land fraud and was on the run for the last five years. A while later, he was declared a proclaimed offender, and was in the wanted list of the Haryana police.
Following a tip-off, the Sector 29 arrested him on Monday.
