Principal held for harassing woman staff

GURGAON: A principal of a government senior secondary school was arrested on Friday for allegedly molesting a 24-year-old woman, working as an information manager at the school.
The accused was then produced in a city court where he was granted bail.
Police said the accused, Prakash Chand, molested the woman both on Wednesday and Thursday. Chand had assumed office only a week ago.After receiving the complaint, an FIR was registered against him under Section 354 of the IPC. “The accused principal was arrested on Friday and produced in court and was then let off on bail,” said Bijender Singh, SHO, Sector 5 police station.
