Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh, who was present at the occasion, said there was no provision as if now for such a declaration but the state government would ensure every possible initiative is taken to recognize his contribution to the society.
Promising to raise the demand of naming a roundabout after Vikrant in Parliament, Singh said the murderers of Vikrant would soon be nabbed.
Condemning the Friday's violence on NH-8 in which several vehicles were set on fire, the MP blamed the administration's callousness responsible to some extent for the incident.
Meanwhile, a large number of cops were deployed in the village for Vikrant's prayer meet. While RPF personnel were stationed near railway tracks and nearby Taj Nagar station, companies of BSF and CRPF staged a flag march.
