Now, online transfer for non-teaching staff in govt schools
Gurgaon: A year after the state government launched online transfer drive for teachers, it has decided to initiate the same for non-teaching staff from now. In the first phase, the department will run the drive for the non-teaching staff in National Cadet Corp (NCC) and in the libraries. The department of education in September last year had started the online transfer method under which the employees could fill their choice of location for transfer. “Though the first drive led to a mayhem, this year the drive was seen to be more regulated and managed with at least half the teachers getting postings at one among their 10 choices,” said an official from the department of education. Colleges, NCC battalions and all government-run sub-divisional, district and state libraries have been asked to send the details and service verification of the non-teaching staff attached with them till December 18. “We plan to initiate the process of online transfer of non-teaching staff too before the end of this year. The data will have to be uploaded on the Human Resource Management System portal within the deadline to launch the drive.”The online transfer drive last year led to a fiasco in the department as several colleges were deprived of sufficient teaching staff. The BJP-JJP government in October this year rolled out the new Online Transfer Policy for the government college teachers under which the assistant and associate professors having good results and research publications had an edge over their counterparts.
