GURGAON: A 12-year-old girl, who was found unconscious in the basement of a building in Farrukhnagar and later died in a Delhi hospital, was hit with bricks in revenge. The victim has been identified as Anora, a ragpicker. Her father Muhruddin, a native of Assam, lived with in a rented room in ward 9, Farrukhnagar.
The house owner had found the naked body of the victim in pool of blood in a basement.

She was first taken to a Gurgaon hospital, which referred her to Safdarjung hospital, Delhi, where she was declared dead.
Asgar Ali, brother of the victim, has lodged a murder of complaint with the police. "It was a matter of revenge. We have arrested accused Mohammad Nazir Hussain, a native of Assam. He also worked as ragpicker," said a cop. Husain had borrowed Rs 30,000 from the victim's father but refused to repay. "When the accused was questioned by a community panchayat and asked to return the amount, he first attempted to rape my sister and then murdered her to take revenge," victim's brother said in his complaint.
"The accused has disclosed that he had borrowed Rs 30,000 from the victim's father. He was told to pay Rs 2,000 more by a community panchayat by October 15. The accused found the victim alone near a market in evening and hit her with bricks. After this he threw the girl in basement of a building and fled. The girl died on Tuesday in Safdarjung hospital," said Sumer Singh Yadav, ACP (Pataudi).
