GURGAON: The Gurgaon police claimed to have solved the mystery surrounding the murder of a 59-year-old man in DLF-IV.
The police arrested a man from West Bengal who had come to the victim Mukesh Sethi’s house for cleaning work a couple of days back. Sethi was found dead in his basement. The accused, along with three others, had killed Sethi after they entered his house with the intention to steal valuables, police said.
The city police have got the accused, Shah Aalam, on three days transit remand.

Investigators are hopeful of getting details of his aides during sustained interrogation.
A senior police officer said that Aalam has confessed to the police that he along with three others murdered Sethi, who was staying alone in his house. “He has also told us that they had planned to steal all possible valuables from Sethi’s house. We are trying to find out exactly what items they wanted to steal from the house after killing Sethi,” said a senior police officer.
Aalam is likely to be produced before a city court on Monday. He has told the police that his other aids include Abdul Mannan, Noor Aalam and Rakesh Roshan.
