sought copies of the social investigation report and the physiological text report submitted by experts, who examined the student to decide his maturity level. The board will hear the case again on December 13.

In the day, Mir accused CBI of destroying the evidence in the case. “As per an SC ruling, re-creation of the crime scene cannot be done at the crime spot. In this case, CBI recreated the crime scene at the same bathroom where the incident had taken place. By doing so, they destroyed the evidence and repeated the mistakes of the investigators in the Aarushi murder case,” Mir argued.

The CBI had earlier filed an application, seeking permission to get finger prints of the juvenile. Challenging it, Mir argued that during the re-creation of the crime scene, the juvenile might have left his finger prints and there was no technology to ascertain the date of finger prints.

filed an application before the board, requesting it to treat the student as an adult.

Sushil Tekriwal, counsel for Pradhyumn’s father Barun Thakur, said the board heard the arguments of all the parties on different applications. “The experts’ reports have been submitted. It is a case of heinous crime and the juvenile should be treated as adult,” he added.
