Haryana assembly elections 2019: Aspirants start 'public ki sewa' to woo voters

Therefore, aspirants have started a campaign as they are aware that there will be no bypoll for Naraingarh constituency.
Interestingly, prominent senior party leaders have opened their offices and welcome visitors. They have also pasted banners which their contact numbers and have also mentioned their former party position.
Offices of around 15 BJP leaders and four Congress aspirants have been opened in the city to woo voters.
While visiting these offices to know manifesto for assembly elections, the family members who are managing it, have revealed that on an average 40 to 50 persons from the urban and rural areas visit the office to share their issues.
Shiv Parkash, 71-year-old, who is managing the office of his brother Sumer Saini, an aspirant for the ticket from Naraingarh, said the office was opened to public around one month before.
When asked about the issues being shared by the public, he said it was only a discussion over a cup of tea or over lunch which was free for all. "If a leader does not meet the public, how can he win the elections," said Shiv Parkash.
He said he was the right hand of Nayab Singh Saini during the past five years and managed all his affairs, but this time, he wanted his brother to fight in elections and serve the public.
Congress senior leader Ashok Mehta said he was sure that he would get ticket from Naraingarh, therefore, he had already started sensitizing the booth workers.
He said there were 211 booths in the constituency and was calling around 40 to 50 booth workers to his office daily to interact with them and shared his opinion.
'Neta Bazboot, Elaka Mazboot' (strong leader makes strong constituency) this slogan has been printed on a banner pasted outside the office of one of the aspirants Sukhwinder Singh Rana from Congress.
While visiting the office, which is managed by his friend, he said people were coming with their issues every day. However, he failed to share the problems raised by public.
