The National Highways Authority of India will develop a four-lane trumpet interchange on Dwarka Expressway to provide direct connectivity to the upcoming Global City and Vision City projects in Gurugram.

The proposed interchange will be built underground, ensuring vehicles can move between the expressway and nearby developments without signals, helping maintain smooth traffic flow on the main expressway corridor. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

The interchange will be constructed near the Pataudi Road junction on Dwarka Expressway (NH-248BB), a key point connecting surrounding residential areas, industrial zones and the upcoming urban developments. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation will fund the project, with an estimated cost of Rs 923 crore to support access to the Global City and Vision City developments. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

Officials said planning has been finalised and the execution process is being prepared, with construction likely to begin within the next three months and the project expected to be completed in about 30 months. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

Around 3.2 kilometres of approach roads and ramps will connect the underpass with internal roads of Global City and Vision City, allowing vehicles to enter and exit smoothly without disrupting expressway traffic. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

The curved loop ramp, typical of trumpet interchanges, will allow vehicles approaching from the Manesar side to make smooth turns while ensuring safe and uninterrupted traffic movement. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

The interchange will also enable vehicles to travel directly between Global City and Vision City without entering the main carriageway of the expressway, improving local connectivity. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

The underpass will be built with precast reinforced cement concrete boxes using a box-pushing method, allowing large structures to be inserted beneath the functioning expressway with minimal traffic disruption. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)

Global City, spread over more than 1,003 acres along Dwarka Expressway, will include residential, commercial and institutional spaces, while Vision City across the expressway will function as a complementary commercial hub. (PHOTO CREDIT: AI)
