Notably, Uchana Kalan assembly seat is represented by JJP leader and deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala, grandson of OP Chautala.

Dushyant had formed a new party after split in INLD in 2018.

“If OP Chautala found any legal restriction for contesting election from Uchana Kalan, then a CM face from our party will be fielded,” said Abhay Chautala.

This statement suggested that Abhay Chautala may contest the election from Uchana Kalan against his estranged nephew.
