GURGAON: A former PGIMS (Rohtak) student and two of his associates, who were wanted for shooting three people including gangster Jeeta Gurjjar and his aide Bablu, were arrested on Saturday. Cops recovered three illegal country-made pistols, four rounds of cartridges and an iron rod from their possession.
The Palam Vihar crime branch team received a tip-off that three armed youths had been plotting a
robbery near Tau Devilal Park in Sector 23.
All three were picked up and the accused were identified as Kuldeep (alias Doctor), Charan Singh (alias Bablu) and Kamal Grewal. Kuldeep (28), from Khayra village, was the topper of the PGIMS MBBS entrance examination in 2005. He stopped pursuing the degree three years later to become a property dealer and also to settle a land dispute in his village.
Kuldeep slid into a life of crime after he dropped out. In 2011, he attacked an Amit Badhwana and a PG owner in Mahendergarh town. He began an association with gangster Pradeep Sikra in 2014 and hatched the plan to murder Gujjar who was killed on the Rewari court premises on February 11.
