Court clerk murder case: Wife among 4 arrested by Rewari police

CHANDIGARH: Wife and her paramor turned out to be the conspirator in Surender Singh's murder, who was bludgeoned to death by three unidentified persons at his house in Sudhrana village of Rewari district.
Seema, the wife, her paramour Anil and the two contract killers identified as Vikas and Manish have been arrested. All the four are currently lodged in custody of Rewari police for recovery of case properties.
Surender was a clerk in the court complex of Nuh. On December 22, he was murdered in the presence of his wife Seema and there 11-year-old son. Acting on the statement of Seema, police had registered a murder case against three unidentified persons at Kosli police station.
Notably, right from the beginning Seema was under scanner of Kosli police. Cyber cell found the details of exchanging phone calls between Seema and her paramour who had hired the contract killers.
“Anil was the first to be picked up for questioning. Initially he denied any kind of link. Later he was confronted with Seema and two confessed the crime,”said a police official.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Seema had married to Surender in the year 2007. Seema had an old association with Anil when she used to live at maternal uncle's house in Pandu Pindara village of Jind. Initially the two had break up after her marriage.
But, the two met again in 2015 when Seema allegedly had estranged relationship with Surender. The two increased intimacy and Anil would often visit her in Sudhrana village where she lived with Surender.
“Last month Anil had informed Seema about his wedding plans. He had asked Seema to get divorce from Surender. As they found it difficult, the two hatched conspiracy to eliminate Surender. As per plans, they hired contract killers and murdered Surender,'' said police.
