Biker dies in Gurgaon hit-and-run

Gurgaon: A 30-year-old water tanker driver died when his bike was hit by an unidentified vehicle at the Sector 42 underpass on Golf Course Road.
Vinod Kumar, a native of Feroz Gandhi Colony in Sector 9, was travelling to work on Golf Course Road when the accident occurred on the night of March 21.
Alerted by passersby, police reached the spot and shifted the victim to a nearby park hospital. From there, he was referred to the civil hospital and then to the Safdarjung Hospital on Friday, where he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
A case was registered under sections 106 (causing death due to negligence) and 281 (rash driving on a public way) of the BNS. tnn
