on Friday and demanded the immediate arrest of the developer. The residents have been demanding a CBI probe or investigation under the supervision of the Punjab and Haryana high court to ensure a fair investigation and strict action against the developer.
The police chief assured them of strict action in accordance with the law. Police have issued a notice to the developer and are now waiting for the structural audit report to proceed further.
A delegation of around 10 residents met Ramachandran. They also requested her to visit the society and interact with residents and listen to their grievances.
The police chief said, “Residents had some apprehensions and were assured of a fair and impartial probe by police. Requisite action will be taken as per the law. SIT is investigating the case.” Ramachandran also promised to visit Paradiso on Monday or Tuesday along with the DCP to interact with residents.
